Manufacturing Operator

Global International Trading is a manufacturer of made to measure window blinds as well as a wholesaler of blind materials and components. Trading under the Style brand and based in Needham Market near Ipswich, we are looking for hardworking, motivated and energetic people to join our production team as Manufacturing Operator in shift 1 working Monday to Friday (06:00 to 14:00).
Work will involve general production and assembly, it does not require previous experience, as training of the roles will be given. However if you have experience in production process it is highly valued, Production operatives must be able to demonstrate they are able to work and communicate effectively with all staff in production.

Job Summary
The employee is responsible for operating the assembly and preparation of the components used in the manufacture of made to measure window blinds. The operative is responsible for operating equipment in the factory to assemble the products and blind components, together with using their hands, machinery and various tools. The requirement for the Operative involves assembling and checking the window blinds, ensuring all machinery being used runs smoothly and assisting in the packaging prior to distribution to customers.
The Operative is required to observe strictly all Health and safety rules and Regulations.
