We are proud to represent the Get Into Teaching campaign and our growing team of student Brand Ambassadors. The Department for Education's "Get Into Teaching" campaign aims to attract students to consider a career in teaching, with around 35,000 trainee teachers needed each year. We're seeking enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to join our Brand Ambassador community across 50 universities to encourage students to consider a career in teaching. **Must be a student at Northumbria University** Have a strong interest in pursuing a career in teaching or education - Be outgoing, confident, and comfortable communicating with your peers and members of the public - Have excellent organisational skills and be able to manage your time effectively - Social media savvy and an interest in digital marketing - Full-time university student with access to on-campus facilities (preferably undergraduate study) - Be able to commit to a minimum of 96 hours throughout your contract **Responsibilities and Duties.** Your core duties will include the following, these are the minimum requirements of the job role: - To carry out the role for three academic terms - Consistently promoting Get into Teaching on campus - Social media story posts on your personal account once a week with BAM supplied media - Host and organise three events on campus in STEM facilities during the contracted period with additional support from Brand Ambassador Managers - Build/maintain relationships with relevant departments on campus **There are incentives to earn more as a brand ambassador by carrying out additional activities during your contract.** **Pay and benefits.** **We offer Brand Ambassadors a tiered salary package**: - Additional Salary: Potential to earn £1,500+ with additional incentives **For further information on salary progression, please apply, and we will advise further.** **Job Type**: Part-time Pay: From £14.00 per hour Additional pay: - Bonus scheme Schedule: - Flexitime Work Location: In person Expected start date: 01/10/2025
