We are currently seeking professional and well-presented individuals to join our Switchboard team. Switchboard is a crucial department within Dorset County Hospital and operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The individual must be professional, reliable, have excellent interpersonal skills and with excellent written English skills. You should also have excellent communication skills.
**The Telephonist role will include**:

- Dealing with client queries in a polite and professional manner, maintaining exceptional standards of customer service and upholding the company's professional image at all times.
- Able to maintain confidentiality, professionalism and attention to detail.
- A strong communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Able to deal with complex issues fast and efficiently putting clients first.
- Manage all queries from customers
- Efficiently manage queries from customers in accordance with processes and guidelines
- Keep up to date with treatment knowledge
- Assist and support other team members
- To assist new starters with information and advice on the direction of calls including listening in after induction.
- Answer all incoming calls in a professional and efficient manner;
- Announce callers when transferring;
- Take accurate messages and distribute accordingly;
- Ad hoc front desk duties as required.
- The receptionist part of this role will include
- Background in working at health or corporate receptionist
- Well-presented, confident, punctual, reliable, intuitive.
- Act in professional, friendly, polite and positive manner with clients at all times.
