Role Summary:
The HR Business Partner at ClearCourse provides critical business partnering to support the partnership through growth and change. To achieve this the emphasis is on driving alignment between the HR strategy and business goals, coaching business leadersto develop a trusted partnership and as a brand ambassador for the ClearCourse partnership you will embed the values in order to drive cultural alignment. In this role you will demonstrate operational HR best practice by becoming a trusted partner, deliveringstandardised practices and processes to the Partnership and driving engagement.
The role demands this person to be a pro-active HR BP who is passionate about the employee lifecycle and happy with working in an ever-changing high growth environment. As ClearCourse is partnership of innovative technology companies, a sense of urgency andthe ability to operate and adapt to change in a fast-paced technology environment is essential.

**Requirements**:
Key responsibilities:

- Partner with business leaders across the Partnership to develop and implement HR solutions aligned to the ClearCourse people strategy and business goals;
- Manage complex employee relations programmes ensuring compliance with policies and practices including but not limited to dispute resolution, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy;
- Drive a consistent approach to HR programmes across the Partnership to meet both the business needs and ensure a positive and consistent employee experience;
- Partner with managers on terms and conditions of employment, knowledge sharing and coaching them on best practice;
- Develop HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes. Monitoring and reviewing practices to make changes where necessary;
- Develop, implement and evaluate employee development plans and programmes, including supporting management development, succession planning and training needs analysis;
- Monitor employee development and training programmes partnering with managers to assess needs and drive results;
- Provide training and coaching for employees and managers on diversity issues, learning needs, employment trends etc.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition and Hiring Manager(s) to participate in recruitment and selection. This includes but is not limited to writing job descriptions and where appropriate participating in interviews;
- Support the change management process, providing coaching to managers throughout this process.
- Provide support on acquisitions including but not limited understanding diligence findings and where appropriate working on integration activities including TUPE and harmonisation;
- Drive diversity, inclusion, engagement and wellbeing initiatives through the partnership aligned with business objectives which includes partnering with the Brand team to achieve our goal of securing awards as an Employer of Choice;
- Participate in the implementation of a variety of human resource projects, programmes, procedures and guidelines to help align employees to the strategic goals of the Company.

Skills and attributes that will help you in the role:

- CIPD qualified to level 5, desirable to 7;
- Proven HR generalist experience, preferably in the technology sector;
- Demonstrable experience of working on mergers and acquisitions;
- Proven experience of working with TUPE and harmonisation activities;
- Current knowledge of employment law and proven ability of working on Employee Relations matters;
- An understanding of IR35 and the associated pitfalls;
- Experience of driving inclusion and diversity initiatives and positively impacting employee engagement;
- Experience of developing and supporting line managers through change is essential;
- An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy;
- Must be self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy or as part of a team;
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills;
- Good IT skills - ability to use Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience of working with a HRIS and implementing KPIs;
