Post holder will be expected to take responsibility for ensuring the optimum number NHS patients are efficiently processed through the administration process.

To fully contribute as part of the business development team to help grow the business.

To develop key customer and stakeholder relationships.

To ensure documentation standards are met as per the contract guidelines and GDPR.

To support and train other staff in the performance of their duties and establish good working relationships with colleagues, other staff, internal and external customers including GPs and consultant users

To be fully aware of the contract details, specification clauses and pricing contained within contracts

To liaise with consultants and theatre for clinic and theatre sessions and support the maintenance of E-referral system to ensure optimum activity through the hospital

To communicate with all internal and external parties appropriately regarding the status of patients.

To liaise with patients and send out relevant information, dealing with patient non-clinical enquiries where possible.

To ensure all transferred patients are pre-authorised by the CCG.

To monitor all patients who have been booked for treatment to ensure they are treated within specified or agreed target dates

To keep up to date spreadsheets and trackers of all patients being processed through the NHS pathway and feedback to the CCG, Trust and IMSK as necessary

To actively convert enquiries taken as part of the role to business within Sussex Premier Health

To have a knowledge of the hospital’s pricing agreements with the NHS

To co-ordinate and track all patients and their pathways via IMSK communicating the IMSK Care team.

To attend all mandatory training sessions where appropriate
