**Occupational Hygiene Manager**
**Location: Peripatetic London and South East Region**
**Job Type: Full Time Permanent**
Occupational Health Staffing are looking to recruit an Occupational Hygiene Manager on a Full Time Permanent basis looking after the London and South East Region on a peripatetic basis.
- Ensuring governance is in place for the undertaking of surveys and evaluation of risks to health in the workplace
- Accurately measure and sample levels of exposure, often through the precise use of specialist equipment
- Record facts or details of procedures, processes, and tasks in the workplace
- Eliminate or significantly reduce risk considering all options of control, such as containment, local exhaust ventilation, and personal protective equipment, and find cost-effective solutions
- Compile data, write reports, and present findings to management
- Liaise with a range of people, including managers and employees, in the process of evaluating workplaces
- Provide clear and accurate information and advice on complex health and safety hygiene issues
- Persuade company management to develop effective hazard controls when required
To Apply:

- Qualified occupational hygiene practitioner - hold or be working towards the BOHS Diploma in Professional Competence in Occupational Hygiene.
- Analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail
- Able to work independently / own initiative
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to gain the confidence and cooperation of the workforce
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
- Negotiating skills and the capacity to persuade and motivate others to achieve results and initiate action
**Salary £51,776 plus benefits.
