**Head of Agile Delivery - Hybrid / Manchester (onsite a couple of days per month)**

We are looking for a highly-experienced Head of Agile Delivery with previous financial services experience. You will be provide leadership of large high performing teams and responsible for an integrated portfolio of approx. £15m.

**Key accountabilities**
- Assure live service for customers through engendering a service protection culture throughout the change life cycle
- Build, develop and maintain key relationships with the Product Vertical Leads; Business Sponsors; IT and Engineering CoEs and Digital CoE leadership to anticipate and recover potential delivery issues before they occur.
- Line management of delivery leadership, Service Readiness and PMO within the SME & Spine Product Vertical
- Ensuring the effective use of resource within the product vertical, to deliver change efficiently and that investment cost is minimised
- Ensuring senior stakeholders at Exec and Board level are informed and up to date on progress, key risks and issues
- Manage and engage third parties, to maximise commercial advantage and manage delivery and operational risk
- Lead and embed best practice in improving delivery quality through a culture of continuous improvement and coaching of project managers across the Product Verticals

**Knowledge, skills and experience required**
- Evidences ability to command respect and to create a sense of vision and purpose amongst project team
- Experienced at presenting at Exec and ideally Board level, to influence a successful outcome
- Excellent knowledge of the technology and financial services industry, including regulatory and industry legislative issues
- Ideally 10 years of relevant programme/project management experience with budgets in excess of £10M
- Experience of both waterfall methodologies and agile methodologies
