We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Senior Buyer to join our team in Madrid, Spain. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing complex procurement processes for infrastructure projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans for large-scale infrastructure projects
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, contractors, and service providers
- Analyze market trends, conduct cost analyses, and identify opportunities for cost savings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications
- Manage the entire procurement lifecycle, from requisition to delivery and payment
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and performance metrics
- Mitigate supply chain risks through proactive planning and risk assessment
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry standards
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
- Continuously improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in infrastructure-related industries
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, best practices, and industry trends
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Strong project management abilities and experience in managing complex procurement projects
- Solid understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies in procurement
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CPM is preferred
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally for supplier visits and industry events
