**About the role of Regional Trainer**
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive, cost effective and sustainable Mandatory Induction Training plan, which provides Support colleagues with all elements of the Care Certificate
- Collaboratively work with the wider Learning and Organisational Development team to build strong networking relationships
- Ensure all new Manager and Support Colleagues are shown a consistent approach to Consensus Induction including the Care Certificate Framework
- Ensure continuous personal development: including all mandatory, Service Specific 'train the trainer’ updates are kept up to date and qualifications are certified at all times
- Deliver all elements of the Cluster Training template where appropriate including Virtual Training as necessary
- Maintenance of good interpersonal relationships with Regional Operations and Service Managers and Colleagues
- Demonstrate flexibility and an ability to adapt quickly to changing plans and timescales
**Essential Requirements**:
- Minimum NVQ4 qualified in learning and development or relevant professional qualified such as Certificate in Training Practice, ILM level 2 etc.
- Excellent presenter with great facilitation and training delivery skills and be comfortable working field based in Regional Cluster locations as required
- Commercially aware, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the Adult Social Care / Learning Disability regulatory requirements in regards to training and delivery
- Able to influence to deliver training solutions based on an understanding of the regulatory landscape
- Effective coaching skills, with the ability to give feedback on both regulatory training and development matters
**Desirable Requirements**:
- Vocational Award in Health & Social Care (Level 4 +) or equivalent and the desire to undertake further CPD Development
- Specialist training instructor qualifications in the following areas:
- People Moving / Manual Handling Instructor
- Emergency First Aid instructor
- Maybo Physical Interventions Instructor regulated by BILD (British Institute of Learning Disabilities)
