Depot Administrator

ECM specialises in the distribution of vehicles throughout the UK. We now have a new vacancy at our Purfleet Depot.

The role is to control the administrative functions of a very busy office. The key requirements of the role are: First class organisational skills. Ability to work to exacting deadlines. Excellent communication both face to face and by telephone. Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Your role is to control the administrative functions of a very busy despatch office. The depot’s primary function is to arrange the onward delivery of imported premium new vehicles for a world class motor manufacturer.

Working closely with the Depot Manager, which is of paramount importance, you will carefully forward plan the handover of vehicles, by use of the company’s own systems and Microsoft excel. Also ensuring the company’s compound site operatives have clear instructions with regard to their daily workload.

Furthermore on a daily basis you will be dealing face to face with car transporter and trade plate delivery drivers.

The hours of work are 40 per week, flexible between 08:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday. Overtime when required in busy trading times is paid at premium rates.
