**Part-Time Procurement Administrator** is needed for a Social Enterprise and Charitable organisations in their **Belfast, Northern Ireland** office.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone with a background in supply chain or procurement, who is looking for the flexibility of part-time work.
This organisation supports a variety of people with additional needs and disabilities, they have offices across County Down and you will need access to a vehicle to travel as and when needed.
**The Role**:
Working within the Finance and IT Department. Our client are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Procurement Administrator. As a Procurement Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the procurement process by handling administrative tasks, maintaining records, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring smooth operations in the procurement department. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, ideally suited for individuals seeking a dynamic role in a fast-paced environment.
- Monitoring all purchases to ensure that they follow procurement procedures, feedback information to originator and manager on non-compliance
- Support ordering processes through researching any potential suppliers.
- Maintaining the procurement schedule, monitoring contract end dates, and ensuring suppliers receive appropriate notice for contract renewals.
- Order supplies on behalf of the organisation that keep in line with procurement procedures, ensuring paperwork is kept up to date
- Ensure appropriate credit card procedure is followed
- Act as the main point of contact for any maintenance issue
**Essential Requirements**:
- 2 years experience working in a procurement or supply chain environment
- Experience with Sage or other procurement systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team
- Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 21 per week
**Salary**: £12.57 per hour
