Maintenance Labourer

Maintenance Labouring Operative required for a busy sawmill on the outskirts of Lockerbie. Nightshift - 4 nights on / 4 nights off, 6pm - 6am The job is physically demanding, there is a lot of climbing on machinery and working in small spaces. A current Forklift Licence and Cherry picker Licence would be advantageous, but not essential as we can offer in house training. **The Job Entails**: - Sweeping up & shovelling sawdust to skips - High level cleaning - Fire watching for hot work tasks - Helping Engineers carry out routines - Making sure housekeeping standards are maintained - Making sure Health & Safety is adhered to - Positive and "can-do attitude" - Communicate well with other departments Good attendance and timekeeping are a pre-requisite of this position.
