Groundsperson

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for various gardening tasks.
- Dig, plant, and maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the grounds.
- Irrigate gardens and lawns as needed to ensure healthy plant growth.
- Build and maintain structures such as fences or garden beds as required.
- Conduct routine inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair.
- Maintain equipment in good working order through regular cleaning and basic mechanical upkeep.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools safely.
- Familiarity with hand tools used in gardening and landscaping tasks.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labour, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces.
