The Foot Health Service in Newham is based in The University of East London, Stratford campus. We are recruiting 2 WTE Band 5 Podiatrists, full-time and part-time.

Band 5 Podiatrists - 2.00 WTE full-time and part-time 22.5 37.5 hours. The working day in 0900 to 1700.

**Contracts**: 2.0 WTE Permanent Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

This post is for a newly or recently qualified podiatrist who is motivated to develop their skills within a team based in the London Borough of Newham.

In this post you will undertake a preceptorship period and you will be supported by your line-manager and other senior colleagues.

We know it is important to build on what you have learnt as an undergraduate and in this post we aim to develop your skills in areas such as assessment and treatment planning.

The Foot Health Service provides a range of clinical services within the community, hospital, domiciliary, residential and nursing home settings where we provide care to patients with a range of medical conditions e.g. diabetes, peripheral vascular disease and musculoskeletal conditions. Successful applicants will develop their skills to enable them to work independently in community settings. You will also have shadowing opportunities in musculoskeletal and high-risk clinics.

We base our care on a Short Term Treatment Plan management approach, team working, clear communication and holistic care. This is supported by our Trust values.

You will receive excellent training and development opportunities and receive support from Specialist Podiatrists and will be part of a supportive team. You will receive regular supervision and have an annual appraisal from your designated line-manager. You will also take part in clinical supervision.
