Responsibilities: - Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children in accordance with the curriculum - Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow - Provide individualized attention and support to meet the needs of each child - Monitor and assess children's progress and communicate with parents or guardians - Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a positive learning environment - Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, behavior, and development Skills: - Strong knowledge of early childhood development theories and practices - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues - Patience, empathy, and understanding to support children's emotional well-being - Ability to adapt activities and teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of children - Organizational skills to plan and prepare materials for daily activities - Creativity to engage children in stimulating and age-appropriate learning experiences Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. **Summary**

As an Apprentice Early Years Practitioner, you will be integral to fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Reporting to the Lead Practitioner, your role will involve utilizing your core skills in childcare and early childhood education to support children's development and learning. Effective communication and organizational skills will be essential as you engage with children and collaborate with team members. Additionally, your leadership potential will be nurtured, preparing you for future management opportunities within the childcare sector. Pay: From £7.20 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
