Investment Banking - Associate

Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:

- Provides support to senior bankers.
- Develop client presentation materials, including all background research, analysis and drafting.
- Familiarity with financial models and other financial analysis.
- Performing detailed valuation analysis, including discounted cash flow, trading comparables, transaction comparables and LBO analysis.
- Assist senior bankers on client coverage initiatives.
- Support product partners and monitor entire execution process for transactions ensuring timely execution to meet client expectations.
- Work closely and help train financial analysts.
- Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements and policies.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Business or equivalent field.

Work Experience:

- Related experience in Financial Services Industry, 3-5 years

Skills and Abilities:

- Understanding of corporate finance and banking products.
- Demonstrated knowledge of credit
- Solid financial modeling skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to coordinate across multiple teams
- Team player and self starter

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. For NYC Job Applicants: The base annual salary range for this position is $126,000-$195,500. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
