Head of Strategic Accounts

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
In this role, you will lead the development and management of strategic partnerships across all channels. You will identify and cultivate opportunities for collaboration that enhance educational offerings and drive revenue growth, negotiate and oversee partnership agreements and trade accounts, ensuring mutual benefits and alignment with customer goals and sales growth metrics, and by fostering strong relationships and leveraging industry insights, create innovative solutions that address the needs of Multi Academy Trusts, Groups of Schools and B2B needs.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the education sector
Account Management:
- Lead a portfolio of key commercial accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, corporate partners, and customers
- Facilitate collaboration and communication between internal teams and external customers
Financial Oversight:
- Monitor financial performance, analyse data, and report on key metrics
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Senior Strategic and Key Account Managers
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Provide mentorship and development opportunities to team members
Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis.
- Seek out large scale partnerships opportunities for extend product offering
This is a home based role that requires frequent travel.
**ABOUT YOU**
- Demonstrable track record of commercial account management, preferably within the education industry.
- Proven track record of success in strategic planning, business development, and revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant technologies is desirable.
