**Kitchen Porter - All Bar One - Edinburgh Airport**

An excellent opportunity to join our team in a fast paced environment. All Bar One Edinburgh Airport is a high volume Bar & Restaurant serving Food and Drink all day.

This role would suit someone looking for a first job in a kitchen environment, or someone with relevant experience who is looking for an opportunity to work and progress in an extremely busy and rewarding environment.

As we are in the Airport, **Opening hours are 4am - 9pm.** Shift patterns for this breakfast role are along the lines of 6am until 12pm or 3pm. Shifts may vary so please check travel arrangement prior to applying.

Due to Airport Security reasons, a **Full 5 year background check** will be carried out and a **Clean Criminal Record** is essential.

**A valid form of I.D. is essential (Passport or UK Drivers Licence)**

The main roles and responsibilities of a Kitchen Porter include:

- Working morning shifts supporting the chefs by cleaning plates, pots and pans
- Food preparation to company specifications
- Assisting the chefs to ensure a smooth service
- Ensure all relevant food safety procedures are followed and all due diligence is completed
- Accept deliveries, ensuring food is rotated and accepted in a good condition.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Any other duties required by the Chef and Head Chef

- A good grasp of the English language
- Ambitious and considering a career in the hospitality industry
- Committed and hard working
- A great standard of punctuality and reliability

**Hourly wage** of **£13ph** plus **Service Charge** (Around **£1-£3 per hour**on top of wage**)**

**Shift Patterns** : 6am - 12pm / 3pm

**Please note**: Weekend availability is essential for this role

Pay: £13.00 per hour
