Logistics Controller -Warwick - Permanent - £competitive ARM are delighted to be supporting a luxury iconic Automotive manufacturer with the recruitment of a Logistics Controller on a permanent basis. This role is responsible for the movement of all finished goods from factory to dealers across the globe delivered on time with no transit quality issues. **Responsibilities**: - Manage logistics providers to deliver cars from factory out to dealers within contract SLAs. - Ensure future capacity based on PTS forecast covering next 3 months detail and 18 months forecast. - Work closely with sales operations and production to ensure the right cars are distributed. - Manage premium freight activities for the outbound team. - Manage special projects vehicle distribution. - Ensure timely clearance of cars through customs and in line with SLAs. - Ensure document retention periods clear and adhered to through monthly audits of paperwork. - Data quality management - ensure systems are kept up to date with a focus on live accurate reporting. - Manage transit claims and delivery quality with claims management team. - Respond to internal EPDR's and work closely with Aftersales and regional teams to ensure the correct service levels are maintained. **Requirements**: - Experience with Outbound Logistics including import / export knowledge, ideally in the automotive industry. - Highly numerical person with great attention to detail. - An awareness of Lean Manufacturing would be an advantage but not essential. - Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy, together with the ability to work accurately and efficiently. - High degree of MS Office knowledge is essential (with emphasis on Excel). - Degree or Higher diploma qualified or equivalent preferable.
