With just over 1,300 employees, we know that our people are at the crux of what we do which is why we are focused on, and committed to, finding and retaining good people. We are now looking for Night Shift Port Operators to join our Operations team at the Port of Grangemouth.

**About The Role**

**About the role**

***You will mainly be involved in operating plant to help load and discharge ships along with other tasks associated with cargo handling, warehousing and distribution. A significant amount of your day will be spent driving heavy plant such as straddle carriers, fork lift trucks and tugs.

***Our working environment comprises warehouses, quaysides or the holds of ships therefore the ability to work at height, in confined spaces and in an outdoors environment is essential.

You will work a continuous night shift pattern and there are two shift patterns available
- **Weekend Night Shifts - 3 x 12 Hour Shifts**

1900 hours to 0700 hours, Friday to Sunday, 33 hours per week

**Midweek Night Shifts - 5 x 8 Hour Shifts**

2000 hours to 0400 hours, Sunday to Thursday, 37.5 hours per week

**What are we looking for?**
- You must enjoy driving large vehicles and be a safe, competent and efficient driver
- Good awareness of health and safety in an industrialised environment
- Basic numeracy and IT skills
- Valid fork lift truck licence
- Experience of working shifts
- Flexible approach to working hours as the requirement to work regular overtime will also be a feature of the role
- Full UK driving license
