Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to join our dynamic team of Nurses and Nursing Associates here at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Birmingham. We are currently recruiting Band 4 Nurses to join our highly committed team on Ward 1.
Ward 1 is a 24-bedded inpatient ward providing specialist spinal services to patients. We have both elective and emergency admissions and we are the national centre for spinal care.
Ward 1 is a fast paced and friendly ward with a hardworking and established team. We are looking to recruit like-minded individuals and in return can consider flexible working patterns.
- Practice independently under the leadership of a registered nurse and be responsible and accountable for safe, compassionate, person centred care.
- Ensure a high standard of patient care is delivered in an effective and efficient manner, reflecting the values and ethos of The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
- Be responsible for assessing care needs of patients. Planning, implementation and the evaluation of these programmes without direct supervision.
- Nursing associates are equipped with the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and behaviours relevant to employment as a nursing associate and will work to the NMC Code
and Standards for Nursing Associates
