We have a fantastic opportunity to join our community nursing teams based at Longmoor Team North Locality. The Nurse Associate will deliver high quality, holistic, compassionate and fundamental patient and client care as part of the nursing team under the direction of a Registered Nurse. We welcome your clinical skills, holistic thinking and ability to collaborate with the wider multi‑professional team to shape care for our patients. Responsibilities Deliver high quality, holistic, compassionate and fundamental patient and client care as part of the nursing team under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Work independently under the leadership of registered nurses, working within the sphere of nursing. Treat patients in their own homes and clinic settings, planning and evaluating care in collaboration with registered nurses. Think independently, make decisions and bridge the role between Health Care Assistants and Registered Nurses. Act in a fast‑paced, unpredictable environment with constant demand. Maintain a full driving licence and use a car for travelling to patients’ homes and clinics. Qualifications Completed Nurse Associate qualification and be on the NMC register, or be due to qualify in the next 2 months. Familiar with working 24‑hour cycles (8am‑6pm over 7 days a week). It is required to have a full driving licence and a car available for work. Ability to work independently and provide holistic, person‑centred care for people of all ages. Opportunities to develop toward a Registered Nurse via the nurse apprenticeship scheme and secondments. Working Hours The service currently operates between the hours of 8am to 6pm over 7 days a week.
