An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Transcription Team at Gateshead.

**Main responsibilities will include**:

- Producing a range of alternative formats including Large Print, Braille and Audio within the Microsoft package and other in-house programs to client specific requests
- Working to client Service Level Agreements
- Work with speed and accuracy whilst maintaining agreed quality standards
- Assisting automated production routes and delivering feedback to Team Leaders on any non-conformances
- Scanning documents through OCR software to deliver data to other members of staff.
- Proofing other members of staff’s work for any non-conformances

**Essential criteria**:

- Ability to work in a production environment.
- Ability to use machinery, equipment and software.

**Desirable criteria**:

- Experience of working within a customer-facing environment.
- Experience of working effectively within a team, developing effective and supportive relationships with colleagues.
- Ability to organise time effectively, create work schedules, prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and multi-task with ease.
- Experience of suggesting improvements to operational processes, and implementing changes that enhance customer experience.
- Experience of communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing, with people internally at different levels of the organisation and externally.
