**CAD Designer - Commercial Kitchens** **Based in Acton, Office based** **Salary : £27,000 - £30,000** A leading, London based, commercial kitchen design house is seeking to recruit an experienced CAD Designer. If you are interested in finding out more and feel that you have the skills and experience outlined below, we look forward to hearing from you. **Role Overview**: The role will be assisting with the development of current and new business. The Cad Designer is required to liaise with customers, architects, designers, M&E companies as well as all other departments within the company (estimating; order processing; projectmanagement and admin) to provide an effective design and technical service. The primary function of this role is to have the ability to convert any technical concept and catering solution into concise drawings using CAD or REVIT facilities. Any drawings produced,will be used to assist Project Team through to estimating, orders and then installation. Therefore, these must meet high quality, measurable standards in terms of time and quantity. Other duties involved in this task are as outlined below: **Main duties will include**: - Be able to interpret technical requests into drawings. - Work closely with the Project Team assisting with any troubleshooting or new developments. - Become an integral player in the design and development of existing catering equipment solution and services provided. - Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential to understand and respond to the client brief, so to produce the ideal design for their needs - Liaise with internal staff and external customers to ascertain their needs prior to conversion into the required CAD drawings. - Assist with any other duties as required by the business in line with your skill set and experience. **Skills & Experience Required**: - Must possess AutoCAD 2D & 3D REVIT software experience and be qualified to City and Guilds standard or equivalent. - Must have created designs for commercial kitchens. - Must be able to create visualisations and "walk-throughs" so the client is fully engaged in the design that is being proposed. - Must be able to work equally as well as part of a team or on your own. - Possess excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. This role will involve liaising with a variety of stakeholders within the business including internal staff, customers and suppliers. - Be able to agree and meet reasonable time scales for the work required. - Pay attention to detail and quality with a continuous improvement mind set and ability to multitask.
