**Community Activities Project Worker**

Cotswold Friends is a local charity based in Moreton in Marsh, providing Community Transport, Befriending, Carer Support, Independence, Hospital Support and Community Activities to older and vulnerable people in the Cotswolds. Our voluntary services improve health and wellbeing and support independent living.

Our Community Activities Programme encourages, supports, and enables older and vulnerable people in the North Cotswolds to participate in activities and engage with others in their local community to prevent social isolation and loneliness.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Community Activities Project Worker, supporting Cotswold Friends’ activities programme across the region. You will be working with our lead volunteers, our venues and our clients to support our programme.
- Assist the Community Activities Manager with the successful running of the activities programme including:

- Lunch Clubs - up to 12 across the region
- Friendship Cafes
- Community Singing
- Knit & Natter
- Walking Football
- Walk and Chat
- Assist with planning and delivery of a new programme of activities at our Stow Community Garden
- Visit venues across the North Cotswolds to support lead volunteers and work with venue hosts
- Produce registers for group attendance and liaise with volunteers and venues
- Maintain our database of clients, volunteers and activities
- Maintain records of group/club accounts and monitor petty cash
- Assist with volunteer recruitment, induction and training, and service marketing and promotion
- Assist with finding and managing suitable venues and carrying out risk assessments
- Assist with evaluation surveys of our clients and volunteers
- Assist with the development of new services and activities

**Contract Type**: 12 month contract to continue dependent upon funding

**Hours per week**: 18 hrs

**Days worked** - 3-4 days a week between Tuesday and Friday, hours negotiable between 9.30-3.30pm

**Salary Type**: Salary

**Salary**: £12.20 per hour

**What level of DBS check?** Enhanced

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.20 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
