What does the SEN Teaching Assistant role entail?
The school are advertising for a caring graduate to join the SEN unit and work as an SEN Teaching Assistant with a small class of mixed ages.
The role will require you to work with your class on their academic and social learning plans. The SEN Teaching Assistant will support their class through his academia and give the social and emotional understanding required for development.
It is essential for this role that you are able to work in a at times challenging environment and have the relevant experience doing so. Training in Makaton or TeamTeach will be extremely advantageous.
** SEN Teaching Assistant - graduate or experienced SEN worker
** Location: Richmond, South West London
** Pay: £75 - £100 per day
** Role Starting September on a full-time, long-term basis
** Specifications: Minimum 2:2 degree with a strong and resilient nature
** Desirable: Training or experience working within SEN or behavioural roles.
