We have a fabulous opportunity for you to join our awesome team as a Housing Concierge. We support our brilliant customers at Homeside Lodge is an extra care scheme for 55’s and over located in Wallsend.

Our customers have a range of care and housing needs inclusive of dementia, complex health and learning disabilities and our staff are trained in providing the best care to suit their needs. We fully promote enablement ensuring our customers are living as independently as possible within their home.

As our Housing Concierge you’ll play a really important role in supporting the smooth running of our services. You’ll carry out regular Health and Safety tasks and good record keeping to ensure the safety and security of our buildings and of our customers. You’ll also make sure we get on with our neighbours

You’ll get involved in lots of different activities which will include regularly patrolling the premises, monitoring visitors to and from the building and ensuring tenancy conditions and service rules are adhered to. You’ll also help with catering if and when required to help ensure the service delivery continues.

**Working hours**

You’ll work on a rolling rota basis of 4 days on 4 days off which can include night cover when needed and weekends and bank holidays.

We need you to be flexible to meet the needs of our customers, but we aim to give you the time you need to spend time doing the things that matter to you

**About you**

You’re passionate and motivated to help vulnerable older people make positive and lasting changes to their lives. You’ll impress us with your ability to work on your own initiative.

- When you join as a Housing Concierge, you’ll need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. The great news is that we will pay for that to be done if you don’t have a transferrable one._

You’ll work alongside our fabulous team who are super passionate about supporting customers to reach their goals and celebrating their achievements. You’ll also join the wider Management team and will work with our brilliant Operations Manager Katie, our Senior Client Services Manager, Richard, and our Registered Manger Sophie who all have a wealth of experience in housing, care and support.
