We have an exciting opportunity for someone who has a keen interest in supporting customers to understand and navigate the ever-changing benefit system. Working alongside a highly skilled team of Money Advisors there will be lots of opportunity for growth, learning and development, and you will be part of team that genuinely cares about helping people.

At a time when customers face more financial challenge than we have ever seen, working as part of a small team you will be focused on supporting customers to claim any help they can towards their Housing Costs and making sure new and existing tenants understand and accept their payment commitments.

You will need to have a good working knowledge and understanding of Universal Credit and other benefits as you will be responsible for:

- Supporting the Lettings team with signing up new customers, with a focus on the customer’s finances and their payments
- Providing basic Money Advice to new and existing Stockport Homes customers
- Delivering an effective and customer focused service which delivers on tenancy sustainment
- Meeting targets and deadlines, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Providing administration support to the team
- A good level of knowledge and understanding of Universal Credit and Housing Benefit
- Excellent customer service skills, with proven experience of delivering this
- Experience of working collaboratively with other teams or partners, and of building effective working relationships
- Experience of managing a demanding workload and conflicting priorities effectively
