**Your Company**

My client is a specialist in creating solutions for their customers' warehousing needs. With over 30 years in the industry and sites around the UK, they are experts in providing an excellent customer experience, and are looking for an experienced L&D Specialist to join their friendly and knowledgeable team in Brentford, West London.

**Your New Role**

Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, the objective of this role is to provide support and work with the L&D Manager to create and deliver relevant training and development interventions for employees and develop leadership capability. This includes creating onboarding development content, eLearning content, supporting the transition and introduction of a Learning management system, and providing support to enhance colleague engagement and retention.

**_Responsibilities Include:_**
- Working with the L&D Manager and the team, you will help support the shaping of their learning strategy, comprising of onboarding, employee development, warehouse development and management development, identifying development opportunities for the warehouse teams and colleagues to ensure a blended learning approach such as e-learning, workshops, action learning and coaching
- Being responsible for supporting the design, development, and facilitation of all programmes, linking benefit and outcomes to their strategic direction and in support of their broader talent strategy
- Continuously improving and evolving programmes based on future business changes, e.g. introducing new and innovative learning programmes, to support the innovation of their overall proposition
- Supporting and helping to gain recognition and seeking to understand the accreditation possibilities for their programmes internally and externally
- Engaging effectively with all stakeholders, understanding their priorities
- Supporting with all their internal programmes to ensure they embed their values, behaviours & capabilities
- Helping to support their proposition to attract, develop, support, progress and retain their colleagues by providing a best-in-class development programme
- When required, supporting and facilitating training with internal and external suppliers, creating a multi-level manager development proposition
- Working collaboratively with their HR people partners to create and drive a consistent development agenda across the company
- Being Passionate about the delivery and facilitation of training

**What You'll Need to Succeed**
- Must have 3+ years' experience in a training creation and design and delivery role
- TAP or CIPD qualified (Minimum level 3 award Training) - essential
- Skilled in virtual and face to face facilitation for leaders and colleagues at all levels with a proactive, innovative, and driven approach that focuses on the experience of the learner
- The ability to deliver inspirational and informative sales and service training sessions
- Experience in utilising and developing in-house learning management systems content and e-learning modules
- Ability to engage and influence key stakeholders
- An engaging, knowledgeable and passionate facilitator of training
- Meticulous in planning with attention to detail, ensuring quality and consistency
- Excellent documentation/written English skills; strong communication and listening skills
- Excellent people skills including Interpersonal skills; empathetic and compassionate
- A creative and strategic thinker with a flexible mindset; able to respond positively to changing demands
- Tech-savvy - ability to pick up new data management systems quickly and efficiently; proficient with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Sway, etc.
- Previous experience/background in sales or customer service is desired
- Ability to think and work clearly under pressure and work through confusion and ambiguity
- Ability to be honest and discrete when dealing with sensitive business information
