Job Overview:
Every year the we organise and host events with the aim of raising vital funds for the hospice. Our events vary and are attended by patients, supporters, and the general public. To ensure that our attendees have the most enjoyable and safe experience at our events, it is vital that we have support from volunteers. As you’d imagine many of our events take place on evenings and weekends. They are full of fun and energy - we like to make sure our supporters hare having the best possible experience
Volunteer roles at events consist of marshalling, running stalls, welcoming, car parking, being a point of call for the attendees, registration, bucket collections and much more**. **You will have the opportunity to try new things, develop your communication skills and support the hospice with their fundraising.
**Duties**:
- Registering individuals at Events
- Provide information about our organisation and services
- Marshalling events
- Donation bucket collecting
- Assist with event setup and coordination
- Maintain a welcoming and tidy environment for guests
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different situations
- A passion for hospitality and guest services

This is a ad hoc role and means you will be added to our event volunteer list where we are able to contact you regarding events. If you are available and want to support us with the event then we arrange more information.
