Be the voice that shapes health and social care in Rotherham. We’re hiring an energetic, community‑focused Engagement Officer to reach underrepresented groups, gather lived experience, and turn insight into action.

**What you’ll do**

- Build trusted relationships across local communities
- Run outreach, events, workshops, and pop‑up sessions
- Capture and report people’s experiences of health and social care
- Provide information and signposting to residents
- Support and manage volunteers and partner activity
- Represent Healthwatch at meetings and public events

**Who we want**

- Excellent communicator and active listener
- Experience building networks and running community events
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Empathetic, creative, and inclusion‑focused
- Confident with Google Docs, spreadsheets, and online forms
- Health and social care experience helpful but not essential.
