Saxon Air is looking for an exceptional team player who wants to dedicate themselves to private aviation as an Fixed Wing Operations Officer. Saxon Air is looking for someone who preferably has experience in private aviation, who is dedicated to ensuring excellence in the delivery of our service. We are a Fixed Based Operator, part of the Klyne Aviation Group.

**THE ROLE & CANDIDATE**

As a Fixed Wing Operations Officer you will oversee the set-up, flight watch and safe completion of the flying programme, maintaining adherence to our AOC and Company procedures. Working in this role will require you to be a pro-active trouble-shooter, solving a wide range of operational and logístical problems, with responsibility for arranging and dispatching flights worldwide. There will also be a degree of charter sales activity in this role, and assistance to the Head of Ground Operations in identifying operational improvements.

Specifics include:

- Preparation and monitoring operations including, but not limited to, Crew Flight briefs, operational flight plans, pilot duty and rest records, and flight time limitations.
- Trip set-up, including entering flights into our operations systems and dispatching globally
- Proactively seek opportunities to increase revenue through schedule efficiencies.
- Providing flight watch function as well as operational support to live flights, creating and implementing plans quickly in response to operational changes.
- Administration of operations paperwork, including processing pilot duty and rest records.
- Assisting the managerial team with activating Operational Procedures as well as reviewing and monitoring the flight schedule, aircraft maintenance and crew training endorsements currency, alongside keeping the flight management software up to date.
- Ensure excellent communication with a range of audiences, including flight crew, aircraft owners, personal aids, points of contact, national aviation authorities, VIP service agents and security teams.
- Support to the Charter Sales function as required.
- Foresight and awareness, with the ability to assimilate information quickly and problem solve in a high-pressurised situation.
- Diplomacy. You'll be good with people and have strong communication skills.
- Great attention to detail is vital, along with discipline and focus.
- Self-motivation, able to work autonomously and have team spirit.
- Mindful of lessons learnt, with the drive to question and improve everything about our organisation.
- Proficiency with MS suite of programs preferred.
- Previous experience working in general aviation, particularly the luxury and private aviation sector is desirable.

**Fundamentals**

This is a full-time permanent role, based in Norwich, but some home working may be facilitated.
