Working as a member of a shift team, the primary role of an Operator is to demonstrate ownership and responsibility for a set of machines, pieces of equipment and/ or processes within their working area.

This includes carrying out the routine operational tasks required to achieve area targets e.g. starting-up, shutting-down, monitoring, cleaning, and carrying out basic changeovers, minor repairs, routine checks and inspections, and the use of basic ancillary equipment and computer programs.

**What are we looking for?**
- Educated to GCSE level or above
- Fluent English verbal and written skills.
- Experience in the FMCG / Factory Operations industry desirable.
- Mechanical training or experience in fault-finding - beneficial

**What will be your key responsibilities?**
- As the Process Operator you will maintain excellent extruder efficiency in line with the set plan and escalate any deviation from standard or plan
- Support peers in achieving highest Safety, Quality and Efficiency standards throughout the processing area
- Be responsible for the achievement of GMP/GHP process score
- Ensure cleaning regimes are upheld and fulfilled to the highest standard
- Ensure Critical Control Points and mandatory Quality checks are completed as required and deviations are escalated through FMOS using the appropriate channel
- The Process Operator will be a flexible member of the team that does what is required to ensure maximum efficiency and output of the line whilst adhering to our Quality & Safety procedures
- The Process Operator will be required to have a broad understanding of the area operation and how it interfaces with different parts of the plant
