**Salary**: £22,912.50 per annum

About the Role:
You will be supporting the Manager in the running of the residence. Your role will be to ensure the highest standards of care are provided by assisting with staff training, safe-guarding reviews,
The role requires you to lead by example by actively promoting positive behaviour within the student group, liaising with medical & other professionals to address issues that arise.
You will be expected to step in during the Manager's absence working some weekends and evenings.
The job requires a duty of care in supporting staff & monitoring individual targets of progress for each service user. In addition, you will be tasked with effective communication with stakeholders & ensuring all team members uphold excellent standards of carethrough staff appraisals & formal supervision.
Your role involves carrying out pre assessments of potential new admissions and assisting with CQC communications.
About the Service:
Registered CQC Care Home based in Plymouth presently occupied by 16 service users in a Residential setting. The home is split over two units, both occupied by 8 service users in each unit.
There is a Nurse on shift 24/7 to support the manager and assist leading shifts but you will need to share the on call duties with the manager.
Required:
Minimum of 1 year in being an assistant management (Or staff management)
Relevant qualification at level 3 or above in health & social care
Desirable:
Recognized management qualification
Experience leading in a residential care setting
