We are looking for an exceptional Senior Group Management Accountant to join this organisation. This role requires a qualified accountant with up to 3 years PQE who has experience working in a growing and dynamic SME business. As well as responsibility forthe preparation of the monthly group management accounts and reporting, this role will also be required to implement processes and procedures to suit a young and growing business. This is a varied and hands-on role from day-to-day accounting through to assistingthe Finance Director with strategy.
This position will involve working closely with the wider team, to improve and add value in all areas of the business by managing and reducing operational and production costs, as well as implementing effective financial control processes. There will beexposure to all elements of this interesting and cutting-edge business.
What type of person are we looking for?
- Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA with a background in a growing and dynamic SME business
- Experience of continually improving, documenting, and developing an accounting system within a small start-up business
- Experience of working within a similar sector e.g. engineering, manufacturing / production, R&D would be desirable
- A strong personality with an entrepreneurial and SME mindset - keen to be involved across the business and make an impact
- Be able to easily translate finance to non-finance members of the team
- Good sense of humour, warmth, easy relationship-builder
- Ambitious and hard working with a results-based approach
Whats on offer?
- £45,000 - £55,000 DOE
