We are experiencingsignificant growth right now and this is a genuinely exciting opportunity for a **Payroll Officer **to ensure that all employees receive prompt and accurate payment with excellent customer care. You will deliver a high level of service and operationaladvice consistent with Company and legal requirements.

**Responsibilities of our Payroll Officer**:

- Running payrolls, creating journals and liaising with Accounts as necessary to effect payment to employees.To include year-end duties and all associated paperwork to HMRC standards and regulations.
- Provide an effective and dedicated payrollservice to Kingpsan Insulation across UK and Ireland, covering circa 1200 colleagues across several payrolls.
- Provide an advisory service to employees ensuring that they are fully aware of their rights and entitlements such as wages, SSP, expenses and paternity
- Check wage sheets and compile associated data.
- Calculate shop floor holiday payments and sick fund waiting days.Provide cover for the Payroll Manager as required.
- Carry out administrative tasks such as the setup of personnel files, adding starters to all relevant databases, trackers and spreadsheets, and assisting if necessary with issuing relevant paperwork to new starters.
- Process leavers liaising with Managers and IT Service Delivery as necessary, to include archiving personnel files and completing all termination processes for payroll.
- Contribute and support the continuous improvement of payroll systems, practices and policies in the organisation, ensuring they underpin ourKingspan's Company culture and values.
- Support the wider People & Culture teamTeam in achieving business objectives, assisting and assist and leadleading where appropriate on projects and activities.
- Keep up to date with developments in legislation and best practice, knowledge sharing with the team to ensure continuous improvement in the service offered.
