Job description

The University of South Wales has a strong sporting background, an excellent reputation for sport degrees, and impressive facilities for our students to study and train in. We have some of the best facilities in the UK offering clubs, courses and qualifications.

The campus hosts top of the range sporting facilities including an indoor FIFA standard 3G football pitch, which houses a Catapult ClearSky Indoor GPS System, a notational analysis suite, a strength and conditioning room, an all-weather pitch an outdoor 3G pitch and numerous multi use grass pitches amongst other things.

The Sport Park is used as a training base for lots of local sports clubs and is also used by numerous professional clubs including the WRU, Cardiff City Academy, Cardiff Blues and the Women's FAW.

For the role of the Sports Assistant we are seeking a reliable and dedicated team player to carry out the following:

- To assist the Sports Officer in the efficient, effective and economic delivery of services at the USW Sport Park.
- To work within the USW Sport Park team, supporting all activities delivered within the facility.
