The Corporate Governance Officer will provide a highly effective and supportive role to the Committee Secretary/Head of Corporate Services and the Corporate Governance Manager in delivering a range of responsibilities.

Guided by broad occupational policies, the post holder will operationally manage the Corporate Governance committee function including providing and managing the corporate business support to the Joint Committee (WHSSC) (comprising of HB CEO’s), and its sub committees including, the Integrated Governance Committee (IGC), the Quality & Patient Safety Committee (QPSC), the Management Group and to support the Corporate Directors Group Board (CDGB)ensuring the provision of efficient and effective processes are in place for the management of meetings.

Their day to day remit will see them working closely with executive directors and individual directorates in the delivery of their function which will involve providing specialist support to administrate senior committees and groups (to facilitate the smooth operation of the WHSSC’s formal decision and reporting processes) ensuring that reports, minutes, action logs, forward plans and register returns are completed, stored and distributed appropriately, and that due diligence is applied to all transactions in accordance with relevant legislation and guidelines.

The post holder will also assist in preparation of information for the organisational annual report.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
