**Overview**
A great opportunity exists to join our well-established kitchen in Bath providing a high standard of plant-based food. We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic, proactive and reliable person to join our team. Our menu is entirely plant-based so knowledge of vegan cuisine is preferable but not essential.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Help in the assembly of meals and catering orders as required.
- Support chefs and cooks during busy service periods by providing timely assistance.
- Participate in stock management by helping to receive deliveries and store food items appropriately.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels of kitchen supplies and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is preferred.
- A passion for culinary arts and a willingness to learn new skills are highly valued.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Our remuneration package is inclusive of tips/service charge which all goes to the team.
