Our Client has openings for Kitchen Assistants in Bath BA1 for their purpose-built nursing home. The home is registered for a maximum of **50 Service Users.**

**Job Details as Kitchen Assistant**:
**Job Type**: Full-Time
**Location**:Bath BA1
**Salary**:£9.50 per hour
**Schedule**: 7:30 am to 7:30 pm
3 days week 1 and 4 days week 2 with alternate weekends

**Responsibilities as Kitchen Assistant**:

- Assist the Chef in the preparation of meals.
- Undertaking preparation, plating and serving of meals to Residents, staff, and visitors as required.
- Preparing and heating up breakfast items and serve as required.
- Heating up or baking prepared supper food and serve as required.
- Preparing sandwiches as required by the Chef.
- Providing necessary crockery, cutlery, trays and serving utensils.
- Ensuring that the trolleys are clean and well-presented before being transported to the floors for serving.
- Thoroughly cleaning all serving trolleys after each meal.

**Requirements as Kitchen Assistant**:

- We provide our staff with the training required for the role, so no direct kitchen experience is required, although it is beneficial.
- A background in Customer Service or a People Oriented Environment is desirable.
- Individuals who can adapt well to working as a team and independently
- Individuals who have good verbal and written communication
- Evidence of having undertaken relevant training i.e. health & safety, food hygiene is not required, although it is beneficial.
