Here at ASQ Education, we aim to find the best School Support Staff available and help them find the role that will allow them to flourish. We are currently looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to assist the SEND Department of an outstanding secondary schoolin South London.

**The role**

In the role of a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to support your pupils throughout the school day. Under the direction of the SENCO, the school are eager to support their Teaching Assistants in delivering outstanding support to their key students.The team you will be working with are supported by trained professionals who will support you throughout the day.

The team would like someone who is grounded & dependable as well as being proactive in your approach. You will be expected to support both the teaching and support staff effectively, as well as co-operating with parents or carers, students, and externalagencies to ensure safeguarding laws are always adhered to.

As such, anyone with a background centred around working within a SEND team as well as a recognised ability to support children and young people to improve their learning will be highly regarded.
- Experience in working with children who have SEND (Essential)
- The capacity to form honest working relationships with students, parents or carers and colleagues alike
- You must have good oral and written communicative skills
- Good organisational and time management skills
- To be adaptable and flexible and show that you have a patient and caring approach to the work you do
- To understand that you must be a leading role model for students and colleagues
- This is a secondary school with outstanding professional development
