Exciting Leadership Opportunity: Head of Family Hubs and Early Help at North Northamptonshire Council
North Northamptonshire Council is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader for the role of Head of Family Hubs and Early Help. This key position will drive the transition of our Family Hubs and Start for Life programme into business as usual and establish a new Early Help Team Around the Family Service, supporting families from conception to age 19 (or 25 with SEND).
Family Hubs provide families with access to essential services, including education, mental health, physical health, with Start for Life at its core, offering critical support to children, young people, and parents. In this role, you will ensure that early support is delivered at the right time, in the right place by the right person across a collaborative network of partners.
What will you be doing?
You will lead the strategic development of early help services, fostering innovation and partnership working with health, education, social care, and the voluntary and community sector to achieve impactful outcomes for children, young people, and families. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of family support services in North Northamptonshire.

About you
We are looking for a strategic leader with a passion for supporting families and improving outcomes for children and young people. You should have experience in leading complex services, with a strong focus on early intervention and prevention. Your experience should also include:
- Extensive leadership in multi-agency partnerships and the development of integrated services.
- A proven ability to drive service improvement, using data and intelligence to evaluate the impact of interventions.
- Experience in managing budgets, ensuring financial accountability, and contributing to meeting efficiency targets.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse communities and partners to deliver collaborative solutions.
- A commitment to the development of staff, ensuring professional growth and providing guidance to ensure high standards of practice.
