**Job Title**: Human Resources Assistant

**Overview**:
Sovereign Group Limited, a renowned manufacturer and installer of windows and doors for various institutions, is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Assistant to join our team. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department and work as a true generalist on the following:
**Responsibilities**:

- Payroll preparation and produce reports as required.
- Recruitment and selection - supporting from posting vacancies, right to work checks, onboarding process for new starters and preparing Employee Personnel files.
- Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date. Log changes to Employees T & C's.
- Involvement in disciplinary, capabilities and grievances, absence management and performance management issues.
- Planning and delivering training.
- Support HR projects such as employee engagement initiatives and training programs.
- Support with minute taking at Employee forum.
- Handle data entry tasks accurately and efficiently using Actin Time Connected.
- Assist in managing social media platforms for HR-related content.
- Collaborate with the Management team to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and Operations Director as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail. Strong microsoft Office skills including Word/Outlook/Excel.
- Experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of human resources principles and practices preferred.
- Previous administrative experience in an HR setting is preferred.

Pay: £22,308.00 per year
