An exciting, newly-created position has opened up within the financial services industry in Greater London, for a Company Secretary and Compliance Officer.
This role is highly-visible with extensive communication between senior company members, Boards and the Company Secretary at the parent company. You will be working to support the Board and senior managers with their responsibilities and you will need to havegood minute-taking skills. In addition to you day to day duties, you will be expected to research corporate governance trends and practices.
This role is based in London, is offered on a 35 hours/week and hybrid working basis.
Key Responsibilities:

- Supporting and directing governance processes
- Advising on governance matters
- Reviewing meeting materials and ensuring they get actioned
- Filing information to Companies House
- Updating statutory records
- Support the Head of Compliance with technical requirements
- Oversee and implement Board meetings and arrangements with related paperwork
Key skills:

- GCI Qualified or part qualified with at least three years of experience
- Experience on a company secretarial team that deals with financial services
- Knowledge of Companies Act 2006
