Are you interested in Interior Design and have a roll your sleeves up attitude?

At CIMC Home, we are looking for a Photography and Showroom Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting role which involves assisting with photography, styling room sets and organising furniture and accessories in our sample showroom. We’re looking for someone with a keen eye for putting collections together and a hard-working attitude.

Photography assistant responsibilities:

- Assisting with creation of mood boards and ideas for new and existing ranges
- Assisting with researching upcoming trends for each season
- Assisting with photography of new and existing ranges
- Assisting with styling of each range for photography
- Unpacking samples when they arrive

Showroom assistant responsibilities:

- Assisting with the styling of room sets for trade shows
- Attending trade shows at the NEC, Birmingham in January, February and September when required
- Assisting with the organisation of furniture and accessories for trade shows
- Organising tools & equipment needed for trade shows
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work area

Knowledge and experience required:

- Creative flair
- Willingness to learn new techniques
- Willing to share new ideas
- Being able to communicate effectively with various departments within the company
- Proactive and hardworking
- Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills

Knowledge and experienced preferred:

- Basic knowledge of using a DSLR camera and lighting
- Basic knowledge of photography and videography
- Knowledge of up-to-date trends within interiors and the home
- Manual handling experience
- Full Clean Driving Licence

Other information:

- No holidays during show period apart from company Christmas shutdown. (November-February, August-September)
- When required, must be able to attend trade shows at the NEC, Birmingham as follows: 17th January-11th February, 30th August-9th September)
- Heavy lifting, moving pallets and building flat-packed furniture will be required.
- Painting and hanging up wall art/ mirrors may be required.

What you’ll gain:

- A wealth of experience within photography and events management.
- Understanding all the processes within events management; logistics, stand design, liaising with contractors, preparations for the exhibitions.
- Experience of various roles in the photography department; styling, shooting, shoot management, sample management.

Please provide a portfolio of your own photographic work if you have one available.

**Salary**: £19,500.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Kirkcaldy: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
