A market leading FTSE Plc business are looking for a Finance Manager to lead the function for the business and report directly to the Finance Director. As a key member of the senior finance team you will be responsible for leading budgeting, forecastingand the 5 Year Plan. You will also drive forward change and systems improvements as well as lead a team of FP&A professionals. Responsibilities to include:

- Lead FP&A activities including performance management and variance analysis, consolidation of key performance drivers, plus risks and opportunities.
- Manage and develop team of 5 Financial Analysts - setting appropriate and challenging objectives, with regular appraisal and tracking of performance objectives
- Manage the month-end reporting process, providing challenge and rigor to the numbers, and analysis of the business financial performance versus latest forecast.
- Production, analysis and commentary for all reporting as required by the management team
- Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting and reporting practices, month end close and forecast processes
- Ensure process improvement to increase efficiency and improve the quality and timeliness of group reporting processes, including opportunities to enhance, expand and implement key financial systems
- Plan, manage and run the quarterly forecasts, annual budget and annual long-term strategic processes
- Review, enhance and implement, reporting processes and key controls across the business, to ensure great understanding of risk and to enhance auditor reliance on internal controls
- Full professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
- Proven experience of managing a FP&A team
- Strong commercial and operational financial management experience
- Demonstrable excellent Analytical skills and ability to interpret financial information and trends
- Experience of leading budgeting and forecasting in large complex group
