We are looking for an enthusiastic Project Co-Ordinator to proactively work with a PMO team, to support Business and IT Change Project delivery.

The IT team is responsible for providing its clients and staff with high quality relevant technology, customised systems and superior service and support to ensure their business needs are always met. As an ever changing and exciting area to work in, you will constantly look for new and innovative ways to provide the most effective solutions to the business.
This role is to join a multi-functional team working to deliver significant IT and business change projects within a dynamic and growing business.

In terms of you day to day duties, these will include:

- providing support to Programme and Project Managers, Portfolio Managers and Head of IT Business Programmes
- assisting to maintain and update the project management framework and disciplines necessary to support the IT PMO
- facilitating the production of Portfolio report communications and management of the escalation of exceptions.
- co-ordination and collation of IT PMO financial information.
- advising managers and teams on the best use of project management disciplines within a fast-paced, high tech environment.
- acting as a reference point for PMO queries and information and an advocate for best practices in project management across programs, building relationships with stakeholders and brokering relationships at all levels
- assisting with establishing PMO stakeholder management plan and implementation of the communication framework

If you're interested and wish to progress, you'll need the following skills:

- 12 months + experience of Project Management Office or Project Support experience;
- previous experience of administering project plans, including risks and issues
- good ability to communicate risks, issues and change within a project environment;
- Promote the PMO function and its function;
- good knowledge of project management tools, techniques and methods.
- a high standard of interpersonal and assertive skills;
- flexibility; pragmatic and tenacious
