We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Home Learning Environment Family Worker to join our team. As a HLE Family worker, you will work as a member of the Family Hubs Team delivering both universal and targeted interventions to families. This will involve working in

partnership with parents and children providing practical hands-on support, information, advice, and guidance covering a range of areas including:

- children’s developmental needs,
- communication and early language,
- parenting strategies and
- developing the home learning environment.

The role will also include co-delivering a variety of evidence-based group interventions with children and families.

This is a rewarding role that requires early years knowledge, passion, creativity, and the ability to connect with Early Years children and their families in a non-judgemental way to share evidence based communication and language messages, model interactions and share advice and guidance.

Whilst helping shape the lives of young people, you could also shape your own career gaining vital experience and skills.

We are looking for a person who:
- Holds sound Early years knowledge and can articulate, understand, values and promotes the essential of the Home Learning Environment on a child’s holistic development
- Is qualified to at least a level 3 in Early Years/Child Development
- Is enthusiastic, warm, approachable and inspiring
- Can talk and connect with families in an open and honest non-judgemental manner and build trusting relationships
- Has the ability to share key messages to shape the home learning Environment in an accessible, understandable way for families that will directly impact their children
- Can follow instructions and work with initiative under the direction of The Communication and Language Develoment Officer
- Is passionate and dedicated to making a local difference by helping Early Years children and their families through supporting the home learning environment
