**What you'll be doing**
- Supporting the A9 Dualling: Tomatin to Moy project team to deliver social impact
outcomes by developing local networks of school groups, community groups, third sector organisations, employability partners and charities.
- Co-ordinating attendance at events with schools, colleges and universities in areas of STEM and construction careers including developing relationships with local schools and education organisations including Developing the Young Workforce and Skills Development Scotland.
- Promoting apprenticeship opportunities both with Balfour Beatty and through our supply chain.
- Providing detailed monthly reports for client reporting and monthly meetings and conducting trend analysis and look-ahead planning.
- Coordinating charitable donations and community-based volunteering opportunities.
- Support Considerate Constructor Scheme audits on site by attending training
provided by CCS and supporting with evidence gathering for monitor visits.
- Reporting and monitoring social impact outcomes which includes evidencing local labour, local spend, arranging work experience, recruitment from priority groups including participants from pre-employability support programmes, positive destination programmes and coordinating community-based activities.
- Upload of SI data to our internal reporting portal including monthly evidence.
- Handling sensitive data related to protected characteristics in line with GDPR
requirements.
- Supporting project teams to create and distribute project newsletters and updates to local community.
- Promoting the successes of our project teams’ social impact through creating case studies, good news articles and promoting successes internal and external.

**Who we're looking for**
- A genuine passion for making a difference and supporting the Transport
Scotland in their vision to create local sustainable job opportunities and
build community wealth through the major investment in Scotland’s
infrastructure.
- An awareness of the 'Social Impact' landscape in Scotland including
Community Benefits legislation, Community Wealth Building, the National
Performance Framework, and the ethos of socially sustainable
development.
- Excellent communication and planning skills and the ability to 'get things
done' on projects that often have multiple interested stakeholders
- Experience of working in a community facing role is desirable but not
essential.
- Strong IT skills across the Microsoft suite and comfortable learning about
and working with new and evolving digital tools for reporting of outcomes
- Full Driving License.
