**OVERVIEW**

Andrews Pharmacy was established over 30 years ago and now operates 4 pharmacies and a post office in the Macclesfield area. During this time, we have developed innovative services to benefit the health of our local communities. Andrews was the first community pharmacy in England to give a Covid vaccination and we are continuing to expand this and other pharmacy services.

This role description is designed to give an overview of the role of Vaccinations Co-Ordinator and is not exclusively limited to the activities described below which may develop over time.

**ROLE PURPOSE**:
To support the smooth running in all areas of the vaccination clinic COVID, Flu Travel Vaccines and Tests.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To offer high customer service levels supporting customers from the initial booking process to attending the appointment.
- Taking part in administration duties which will include answering telephone calls and administering pre booked appointments.
- Supporting customers through the journey of the vaccination clinic.
- Ensuring health and safety measures are adhered to.
- Checking customer eligibility for vaccine.
- Inputting customer data into the Pharmacy database.
- Managing rotas
- Creating and maintaining staff contracts and records
